How to configure a webmail account to Outlook 2010

To configure your webmail  account in Outlook 2010:

1)  Navigate to File >> Info >> Account Settings

2)  Click on New; Select E-mail Account; and click Next

3)  Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next

4)  Select Internet E-mail and click Next

5)  Enter the User’s information, Server information, and Logon information.

Server Information:




Logon Information:

Username = email address

6)      Click on the More Settings … button

7)      Click on the Outgoing Server tab, place a checkmark next to “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”, and select “Use same settings as my incoming mail server

8)      Click OK

9)  Test the account settings by clicking the “Test Account Settings..."

10)  The following screen will identify if there are any errors with the configuration.
